Display & Design Cultural Association was founded by architects Maddalena d’Alfonso, Giovanni Singarelli and Marco Introini, together with Massimo Berardi, with the aim of promoting and disseminating knowledge of design, architecture and art at both national and international level.
The Association develops research projects, exhibitions and innovative museographic initiatives.
With twenty years of experience in the organisation and production of exhibitions, cultural programmes, photographic surveys, workshops, seminars and conferences at national and international level, the founders of Display & Design Association adopt an interdisciplinary approach to design, developing new sustainable and inclusive strategies and practices aimed at serving the common good.
The Association promotes a wide range of cultural disciplines connected to the visual arts, from photography to music, through an interdisciplinary approach. It enhances historical heritage and the landscape as a shared cultural asset, while supporting artistic and architectural initiatives.
Among the Association’s strategic objectives are promoting sustainability and gender equality in the cultural sector, fostering processes of social inclusion, and developing projects addressing non-violence that encourage dialogue, mediation and peacebuilding.
Display & Design Cultural Association promotes research and innovation and is committed to enriching urban and social culture through residencies and awards, contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of individuals and communities.
